Can’t believe it was 18 years ago. One of those days where you can remember exactly where you was and what you were doing.
We visited the 9/11 museum this year and it really was emotional looking at the exhibits and listening to the phone recordings especially.

I haven’t many photos as it didn’t seem right..

I wonder how may of us remember where we were when we heard the news ?

I was on the way from abingdon to reading when my (now) ex rang me to tell me because she was trying to book a holiday with an American company (based in Lpndon) who had been told to leave their office as a precautionary measure.

There is a song that was written about the passengers who lost their lives on the aircraft and was based on the last calls the victims made to their loved ones when they knew what was going on. Very thought provoking. Google "if this is goodbye" mark knopfler and Emmy Lou Harris.

I will always remember where I was that day. It's something that will never be forgotten and still gives me goosebumps watching the footage

My sister is just back from New York, she said it was very moving and emotional xx.

My daughter and my niece were there on that day , most worrying day of my life. Thankfully they were both ok , but the the 7 hours that we didn't hear from them , was awful

I was at work watching a video on the news, we all thought it was a spoof ! Until a work friend’s wife called and told us! She worked at the police headquarters!
A day we should never forget!
