Anyone flown on Westjet Dreamliner?
Hi
We are off to Vancouver in July 2020 and had everything booked. Then Air Transat decide they are scaling down their flights from the UK to Vancouver and cancelled our outbound flight on 13th July. Offered to transfer us to 14th but this means we lose a day of our holiday. This trip is for a 25th wedding anniversary so want to get as much out of it as we can, especially as it's our first time going. One option is to fly with West Jet instead who apparently will be introducing their dreamliner aircraft from the UK next April. Flights are cheaper but as our daughter is under 18 when we go (she'll be 16) they apparently don't offer extra leg room seats for 'kids' so would be in economy for 9 hours. Is this going to be painful? Do WJ offer premium economy for under 18s? Any advice would be great :-)

Flown with Westjet and found them to be fine. I am 6'2" and had no issues with legroom on the flight out.
Remember WJ don't have seat back screens, it either streamed to your device (get the app before you go) or you have it on your own device. They did have seat back USB ports for charging though. |

Thank you. Apparently the new Dreamliner does have seat back screens so that’s a bonus. Good to know the leg room is ok. That makes me less anxious!

Seat pitch is 31", the same as just about every other airline.
