1 night stay on Disney

Hi, Despite visiting Florida about 20 times we have never stayed onsite in Disney. The opportunity has presented itself this year and we are considering a 1 night stay. We will be staying the night before at HRH and taking advantage of the front of line in the parks so we won't arrive at the disney hotel until probably early evening. Was thinking we could stay in the disney hotel (maybe go into a park for fireworks depending on time) then get up early and do a full day in there before moving to our villa/condo.
However we haven't been to Disney for 4 years and I know a lot has changed. Any advice as to get the best out of this day would be appreciated. I'm specifically wondering
1. Is the parking like at Universal ie we park at the hotel and walk in? Will we have to pay 2 days parking or one?
2. Do we get complimentary magic bands even if its just one night?
3. Can I book fast passes at 60d out if we have the hotel night booked? Assume we can only get fast passes for the one day we are staying?
Grateful for any help
Thanks Susan

You get 60 day fast passes for check in day and check out day.
Yes you will get magic bands.
It depends which Disney hotel you’re staying in regarding the walking in. But as far as I know from next year it’s more or less going to be the same price to park at a hotel as at the theme parks. Maybe a dollar or two less at the hotel.
If possible you’d be better off splitting your stays at Universal and Disney or you’ll have one day when you’ve got express passes for Universal and Fast passes for Disney.

There are only a few hotels at Disney that have parks within walking distance. From most you would need to take Disney transport or drive to the parks.

You will get a magic band even for a one night stay. You would get 60 day fast passes for the day you check in and the following day (assuming you have tickets for both).
