thomson dreamliner

hi guys,

I am flying with thomson for the very first time.

I have a couple questions.

do they supply headphones or do you have to pay for them?

are drinks free during the flight like virgin?

any other tips would be appreciated.

cheers

Yes to headphones and drinks in both cabins. No choice of meal in economy but you do get a choice in premium. Very spacious seats in both cabins. They would be my first choice when choosing flights. Enjoy

As above really, headphones and drinks included.
We got a drink shortly after take off, one with our meal and then another later on. It was enough for me but a couple next to us asked for more. They were told to walk to the back and speak to cabin crew if they wanted another. They got one the first time, but the second time the crew said they were busy so they would have to wait.
I think we got 3 or 4 drinks on the way back too.

They didn't have baileys as an option 3 weeks ago. I was a little bit disappointed

Headphones are free, as are drinks in both cabins.

Premium seats are brilliant, loads more leg room plus you get on first and off first. Your bags are put in the hold last so you get your baggage first when you get off the flight, which means you get to the front of the immigration queue!

We went on the Dreamliner last month and the headphones were free, they were the "in the ear" type. We were asked to retain the headphones for our return flight, but on the return, they were given out to anyone who had not kept them. If you take your own, the sockets on the plane were the two-prong type, but normal headphones worked just plugged into one socket (but not stereo) so would work better with an adapter (2 pin to single pin).
I suggest you buy some water from Boots(cheapest) (after security) to take on with you because the drinks are free, but not as frequent as with Virgin. I also take my own sandwiches and snacks as there is no menu choice in economy. On the return flight suggest you eat before you get to the airport. After security the food and drink choices are poor and expensive .There are loads of restaurants and fast food places on Lake Mary Blvd (near the airport),also good petrol stations at reasonable prices.
