If you have any questions let me know. My current lab is 18 months old now so gone through the hard stage
Thank you I will probably have tons of questions. Had dogs before but not a puppy!

He now sits quite happily on the back seat for long/short journeys.
He sounds like a very good boy

We've had 4 puppies and one 5 year old rescue. All the puppies have been different. Logan is 18 months old and we also have ruby 7. Logan has just decided to chew the living room carpet, although he's quiet today as he had a cyst removed yesterday.

The pet insurance is the hardest thing- choosing the right company and cover.

We brought our lab pup home on a blanket in my mam's arms. She just snuggled in. At home we had a basket during the day and crate for night and when we went out. She was fine in both.

I am glad she was fine. I am quite risk averse and wouldn’t want to risk being fined or invalidating my insurance by not securing animals whilst in the car, as the law requires. Here is a link to rule 57 of the Highway Code.

Same as us.

We've had a cocker before but he was a rescue and was 6 when we got him. Unfortunately he went blind from a genetic condition within 7 months of getting him, so we didn't want to risk that again and opted for a pup with parents who had been genetically tested.

It's been a challenge as first time puppy 'parents' but at 17 weeks old, it is much easier now than in those first few weeks.
