I'm currently on hold again trying to get through to them after being cut off after 4 hours yesterday...also tried WhatsApp, SMS, facebook, twitter.

I realise that it's a difficult time but they have furloughed my agent and many others, they are obviously needed to cope with the demand of calls.

I text on Monday and have just had a reply asking us to choose a date to rebook our hotel.

Where do we stand as we have already requested a refund from VA for our flights?

I’ve had a reply by text so that’s my September holiday moved to September 21. I’ve totally changed it so instead of Clearwater/yacht club we’re doing Naples and Key West 😊

Did they charge you an admin fee to move or did they do this for free?

It was a £50 per person admin fee

Mobile Still no luck!

Well our day for paying balance has been and gone. We’ve had a reminder email. We’ve tried text message, WhatsApp, Facebook messenger, twitter - no luck. We’ve spent hours and hours on hold. Now VH have changed the automated phone response and you get cut off if not travelling within 72 hours.

I know people are busy, but we’re so frustrated.

We ended up emailing them in the end (as well as sending a letter in the post). Despite being within 72 hours of our car hire booking, we still couldn’t get through on the phone (and in fact, when we typed our booking ref in it cut us off).

Emailed them last Sunday, and they replied on Friday saying they would process our refund.
