TUI seats on the flight

Just browsing and wondered if the ELR seats on a TUI flight are worth paying for and if they are in 3s, I also wanted to ask if PE in TUI was worth the extra and also if they were in 3s. I’m really just browsing as you do, not planning to go till September 21, but I do like to plan early. If anyone has flown with them , I would love your thoughts on the seats and flights. Thanks for any help.

Premium is 2 3 2 configurement, not sure about the economy side, but is Dreamliner. Is it worth the money? Depends what your being offered, we paid £400 for both of us for both ways. It was worth it. Compared to TC premium when we went to new York last year, far superior.

We flew on the dreamliner in economy and it was 3-3-3. We found the leg room fine, I'm 5ft 6in and my husband is 5ft 8inches so not very tall. We're returning in August for my husband's 50th birthday and I considered upgrading to premium as a treat. I was quoted around £1,600 for the 4 of us. I honestly can't say being in economy bothered me enough to want to upgrade. We all found the flight great and I decided to save my money to spend on other treats in Orlando.

Tui have 2 types of Dreamliner the 787-8 and 787-9 (basically a stretched version). Seat maps showing each are here:

787-8 - seatguru/airlines/Th...eing_787-8.php
787-9 - seatguru/airlines/Th...eing_787-9.php

PE is 2-3-2 and economy and extra leg room is 3-3-3.

The extra leg room seats are worth it, but not the extra room seats as these tend to be near bulkheads and toilets where other passengers congregate. We have looked at premium for our trip in May but they are still wanting over £200 pp each way so we are more than happy with our ex leg room ones.

ELR are I believe at the back of the plane so last off if that makes a difference to you. We have gone for extra space seats but at the front so not near toilets

Won’t make no difference to our party as we have to wait for a wheelchair.

We have booked the ELR for our trip to Mexico this year with Tui dreamliner. There are just two of us so we chose window and middle as we like the window seat, but we felt that the ELR would just make it easier for getting out to the loo with someone else sitting on the aisle seat. It also means you can choose your seats as soon as you book which was a bonus too, worked out around £100 more in total so not very expensive
