What is the Oldest Item of Clothing in Your Wardrobe?
Today DH and I decided to have a good clear out of our wardrobes.
 We took 8 bags of DH's clothes to the clothing bank... out of one wardrobe! I was going to do a car boot sale or stick some on Ebay, but have decided against it.DH came across a pair of Adidas shorts that I bought for him in 1999 for our first ever Florida holiday! I bought them in Germany and they cost me 50 DM (about £15 at the time) So this makes them 21 years old and still going! I still have my wedding dress of course that is coming up 32 years old. So come on Dibbers what is your oldest clothing item in your wardrobe? Jane

My wedding dress 53yrs old tomorrow. DS romper suit and shawl he was wearing we brought him home from the Adoption society 50yrs ago, otherwise nothing tend to clear out regularly.

I still wear a denim jacket I had around 1996. It’s been in fashion, out of fashion and then back in again! Admittedly, I couldn’t even attempt to fasten it now, but it looks great just open. My daughter(17) and I share it! Cost around £40 from Gap.

A couple of band T-shirt’s from the early 2000s - Muse, Athlete, Nizlopi.
Some of them are way too small for me but definitely can’t throw them out!

Got all sorts in a drawer under the bed, even my old school uniform, my event hoodies from Ventures and some hand knitted jumpers. Probably at least 35+ years old. Stuff in regular wardrobe use is probably all under 15 years... I'm fatter now than I used to be!
