The worst result we've had recently from Tesco C&C is when they substituted dishwasher cleaner for rinse aid.

We now have the cleanest dishwasher in the road but the streakiest plates.

Thank you for this post... I’ve been checking Asda & Tesco daily since this started and not been able to get near any slots so I’d given up trying really...gave Tesco a try this morning after seeing your post and managed to get a slot for tomorrow! Also managed to add stuff for my parents which I’ll drop on their doorstep so one less shopping trip for us all hopefully!

Does anyone know though, it says delivery without bags but am I right in thinking it will be in bags? I’ve asked for it to be dropped on the doorstep regardless.

Yes will be in bags and left on the doorstep, they will then ring the doorbell and wait at a distance for you to answer

I have been using Iceland for mum/her elderly neighbours as could only get slot there

First time since this lockdown seen anywhere else (few days ago got one at Morrison’s for May! )

I did read someone wanted sprouts and got one 😆

It could sell out anyway, it all depends what they have in stock when picking the order

I have shopped with tesco online for the last 16 years. The substitutes on the whole are excellent and they always refund the difference so only pay the price of the original item. You may find if you don’t choose substitute a lot of your food may not arrive. You can always hand it back if not appropriate.
