Plenty of caster sugar in our shops, it's the flour that is in short supply round here. But is about if you use the right shops. Our Waitrose has always had flour but it's expensive. Going to make a cake later now you all talking about baking. Everyone should post there baking results on here later?

cant find flour or caster sugar here even tried Costco Glasgow on Friday and no luck there either.

I managed to get plain flour in aldi, and caster sugar in b and ms. Not seen it anywhere else. I also add, if you want light brown sugar, 500g packs in b and m, half the price of anywhere else, always get mine from there. X

Update I found caster sugar in Tesco and made a lovely lemon drizzle cake. Next problem is making a carrot cake and now can’t get light muscovado sugar . Think I’ll give up on this baking malarkey
