Just checked air Malaysia direct good prices - once they get a date for moving I’ll book with them. I hadn’t thought of them even though we have flown with them before - thank you so much

Good advice to check the medicinal allowances for the other countries. I think KL and certainly Thailand have the same restrictions. I know they restrict Diazapan (Valium)

I spoke to the medical advisor at the Emirates Embassy in London before I transited through Dubai on the way to Mauritius. She advised me to have a letter from my GP stating what I was taking and why, a copy of my prescription and just enough of the tablets for the flight in my hand luggage. The rest of my medication had to be put in hold luggage in the original boxes. She said it wasn’t a problem as I was only in transit. It’s probably worth giving the Embassy a ring. They were really helpful as I was panicking.

Yeah I've done it a couple of times with Malaysian. One time we went on to Cairns in Australia a week later, but came back home in one hit:

Cairns - Darwin (2 hour layover) - Kuala Lumpur (4 hour layover) - Heathrow.

That was not a pleasant journey!
