We use to have a Samsung one, took a big load and was pretty fast at drying the clothes. It wasn't cheap, but we had it for about 8 years before passing it on.

We have a vented one, the cheapest I could find, it’s in the out building so I even managed to get it reduced further as it had been dented in store and it doesn’t matter as it’s outside.

It’s great because you don’t have to empty the water thing and seems to dry quicker, if in the house I would probably opt for a condenser as getting the house out the wall could be an issue.

I am an AO (Appliances Online) person. mainly because they tend to have very good prices but also with a bit of digging you can always find a promo code! Oh, plus Quidco as well.

Their reviews of all products are fairly accurate and this tends to influence me a bit. For a few £ it is worth getting the Which reviews as they are very indepth and independent as well.

Tumble driers worry me ref fires and I wont ever go out when it is on even though it's in a detached garage.

I would lean towards Bosch and Samsung. Never again will I have Hotpoint (or their Sister products) after their handling of the recalls following numerous fires.
