Pushchairs and wheelchairs out shopping.

Today we have had lunch out (in M&S) which is a great cafe for taking people (adults and children) to due to accessibility and sufficient space to park the �vehicles� close to the tables. I noticed two pushchairs parked next to a table. The young children were facing a blank wall. I have seen this many times in the same shop with wheelchairs. The carer has left the occupied wheelchair at a table so the carer could go for the refreshments. However, the vehicle has been left so that the occupant could not see anything interesting without twisting his/her head. So boring. I hope this never happens to me!

While I see your point, this may be so the person in the chair doesn't notice the people around them staring, which is very common.

From experience, I'd rather sit facing away from a bunch of people so I wouldn't be as embarrassed.
