MYW tickets - adding park hopper option

I thought I read somewhere (but can't now find it!) that it only costs about $10 on the day to add the park hopper option to a base MYW ticket. Does anybody know if this is the case - or if not, what the price/procedure is?

A 5 day MYW ticket is $340 on WDW site. A 5 day MYW with park hopper is $409. So $14 ish per day.

A 10 day MYW ticket is $400, a 10 day MYW with park hopper is $469, so $7 a day ish.

So the cost per day decreases as the number of days increases.

Adding the Park Hopper option costs $55 (+tax) to add to the 2 and 3 day Base tickets, and $69 (+tax) to add to the 4 day tickets and above.

For 1 day MYW tickets it's a bit more complicated due to the difference in price of MK and non-MK tickets. But the price is roughly $50.

See the following for a list of ticket prices. Just subtract the Base ticket price from the Park Hopper price to find out the difference and that's what you pay:
