Having family on one booking

Hi all
Looking to see if anyone can give any advice please. We are looking at booking with family members but I don’t want to have to be responsible for their payment if they don’t go.
Is there a way we can book with family on one booking but that the responsibility of payment would be split between family members?
Is this possible?

Not that I’m aware of, if there’s one ‘lead name’ On the booking then that persons responsible for making sure the whole booking is paid

I would do seperate bookings. We made that mistake many years ago and they then said they couldn’t afford the final payments. We paid so that everyone’s holiday wasn’t ruined. Never got a penny of it back. Still bites to this day and has caused a lot of issues in the past.

Save yourself a load of pain and go with separate bookings. I would go as far as telling them all to book their own flights.

Unless you're prepared to pay, just in case, I wouldn't bother, even for family! Once it's paid for, can always contact the resort and ask them nicely, could you have rooms together or as close as possible. Worst they can say is no, but we always found them to be very accommodating as they want you to come back 😁👍🏼

You can link the bookings afterwards, we did that last year so we got 2 lots of $200
