Newbie trying to book

Hi All

Newbie here having a meltdown at not knowing where to start.

My husband and I want to take our two darlings (will be 17 and 10) to florida for 3 weeks looking at around October half term 2020 to tie in with our 5th wedding anniversary.

We want to do the Disney parks, universal, discovery cove, busch gardens and if he gets his own way sea world too.

Can anyone give me some advice at the best times to book and whether to go DIY or package. Is there much saving? and if so how?

Thanks in advance

Lizzie xx

Personally, I would go for a split stay holiday with the first week (or 10days) onsite in a Disney hotel and the remainder in a villa. I would book the Disney stay after April 2019 when the free Dining offers are available for 2020. This really will give you an extra dimension to your holiday.

You can get an idea of prices by looking on disneyworld.disney.go/en_GB/ and look at youtube videos and on trip reports on here to help you make some decisions.

However, I will say that 3 weeks may seem like enough time to do all that you've planned, but it will be an exhausting trip. I would consider dropping the DC/Seaworld/Busch part and saving it for another visit. There's so much to do already. Plus the prices of tickets now really adds up, so it's nice to make the most of the ones you do have, rather than just skimming the surface of them all.
