Easter 2019 - doable?
Hi
We are honeymooning at WDW over easter 2019... is it doable to do all the disney parks and universal in two weeks? We have two adults and a 13year old. We are used to long days and lots of walking. I am just wondering if it will be too busy to get it all done in that time. Queue lines excessive. We are only interested in the rides and some shows - we will pass on the characters. Any help greatly appreciated for us first timers! Many thanks |

Sorry, as I have no experience at Easter, I have only visited in May or July/August. Both May and School Holidays we managed to do Disney and Universal. If you plan your fastpasses well for disney and factor in longer days you should be fine.

Thank You. How do the fast passes work. I have no idea. Think I need to start researching things xx

I have done Easter twice 2007 and 2011 and it is doable but be aware it is tiring.
We also included Seaworld and Kennedy on the 2011 trip but they were long days. Universal is much bigger now too so I would make sure you have “rest” days in the water parks or as we tended to do, hit the parks at rope drop and come away to relax in the afternoon before heading back out again to eat in the evening. You don’t mention where you are staying but if on site use the EMH and quiet parks info here on the Dibb to your advantage. Planning is key and though some think it spoils the spontaneity, i personally think it is so worth it. And the planning is also the fun bit 😀😀 Edited at 07:12 PM. |

We've done a few Easters, whilst it's busy you can still get lots done. Early starts are key, get headline rides done for park opening. Use fast passes for none headline rides lunchtime onwards, as the buffet breakfast crowds arrive. Take a break mid afternoon, pool or shopping, returning evenings when the buffet dinner people have left and it's cooled down.
WDW and Universal is possible in your timescales, only a couple of parks need more than one day i.e. MK No young kids, who tire easily, and you're fit walkers
