All Booked July 2018-anyone flown this route?

We finally took the plunge and booked our flights! Only got work holidays confirmed in December so been trawling the sites daily for a good deal.
Flying Gla to Mco via Gatwick and home to Glasgow via Philadelphia. Flying 1-15th July with BA/AA 2a and 2c plus full size car booked through Expedia for £2435.
We have flown from Manchester the last 3 times but no great deals this time. The airport is 15 mins from our house so no long drive home this time!
Anyone done this route through Gatwick? Looks like a 777 on the way out and a 757 on the way home. What is the LGW to MCO route like-any seat back IFE etc...
Villa is booked, Discovery cove ultimate ticket booked on Blue Friday-all booked in for 6th July. Just need to save some money for spends and we are all sorted!
