We upgraded from a 3park to a 2 park premier pass yesterday at universal studios guest services. However we had not used our tickets before we upgraded. This cost $223.64 each.

But from what I was told I believed this wouldn't be possible if we had used the ticket.

When I went I specifically asked for a 2pk premier pass, it took him a while to find the right ticket but it can be done.

My partner had a skin Condition that is aggravated by chlorine so we can't do waterparks anyway.

We asked too but were told that the new rules say you can only get a 3 park. It was actually not much more (around $10 each I think) so we weren't that fused

i emailed Universal about this and was told that the policy has indeed changed. You can no longer upgrade a 3 park pass to a 2 park annual one, only a 3 park one.

Pleased you managed to get a right result. Gutted we couldn’t get that, it’s frustrating when they’re not all singing from the same hymn sheet. We ended up paying more for less of a ticket. We’d not used our tickets when we asked either and tried so many times 😭😭.
