Flight options in Aug 2019

Looking at possible flights and seeing some good prices from Ireland to Manchester to Orlando. A few questions
We would land in Manchester and have an hour and half before the MCO flight would take off presume thats adequate time
.
We usually have pre clearance from Ireland when you land in MCO from Manchester how long does Immigration take.
The carrier is Virgin Atlantic I have never flown with them but presume they are good ?

I'm not an expert at all - but I think you can fly from Dublin direct to Orlando via Aer Lingus in August?

You can but for around €300 more per person and we are living in Cork so flight via Manchester would be quicker than driving to Dublin

Just another question someone may be able to answer, flights are from Cork to Manchester with Aer Lingus and then Manchester to MCO with Virgin, if I book on Skyscanner does it give us a baggage allowance for the international flight for the Cork to Manchester leg
