Mobile Booking FOLP separate to main ticket

Evening all,

I have bought our universal tickets through floridatix and have received my paper tickets through the post. Our plan is to have one full day at both parks so I am looking to pre book FOLP. Has anyone had any experience booking the passes through the Universal USA website and using the print at home option. I think this is the best option for us but wondered if that would be a problem by having tickets from different sources.

Many thanks,
Jack

Are you aware that the passes can be around $90 per day per person per park? Cost depends on your dates obviously.

We're you after the express pass or express pass plus? You can only skip the line on each ride once with the express pass or unlimited with 'plus'. You cannot use them on Harry Potter Gringotts ride or Forbidden Journey as well.

Hi, yes I costed the regular express pass for both of us for just over 140 dollars. My other idea was to buy on the day if it was really busy but I am unsure if the passes sell out on the day and would rather be safe than sorry.

Yes they can run out. Are you doing both parks in 1 day or 1 day at each park? Reason I ask is that if you are doing both parks in 1 day you will need the 2 park express pass.

What are your dates?

Maybe you have considered it already, and I'm guessing that the $140 you quoted is either per person or per day, but for maybe $300 you could get a night in one of the hotels. For this you'd get 2 days of unlimited express pass and 2 early entries. For 2 people it's borderline value, when there's 3 or 4 it becomes a no brainer.

Yes that's what I was going to suggest hence trying to find out how many days they were planning to visit.

OP - yes in May Express Passes are around $69.99 each plus tax for a 1 day 2 park pass so $150 in total which is around £110. However on the Universal Uk site you can get a 1 day 2 park express pass unlimited for £61 each inc tax or £53 each for the first half of May so much better value as you can go on the rides again and again

Thanks for the quick replies. We are planning to be in the park 21st May.
Using the US universal ticket site the tickets are 64.99 each for both parks unless I am reading it wrong.

That may be what I look at then. Would there be an issue with having booked the FOLP at a later date - do they have to be linked to a ticket at purchase for example.

Yes that is correct. $138.44 inc tax which is around £100. So for an extra £20 you could get the express pass unlimited if you purchase on the uk site.

Hope it helps.

No totally separate from you park tickets. Speaking of which did you get park to park tickets?
