Amending booking @ 7 months

We have only just bought in (our home resort is AKL). We have booked
for August 2020 BUT if possible would like to swap to a different resort (possibly boardwalk or beach club if available).

My question is, would I have to cancel my original home resort booking before I can make the new booking if available or would the system automatically change the resort on the booking?

Also - I read on another site about 'walking' a booking . what on earth is this please

No you don’t have to cancel. You will just amend your booking and if it is available, the system now swaps the booking without risk of losing the first booking. Before the new system you had to cancel the first or do something called the two browser trick, but don’t worry about that now.
