Only you can decide hun... I wouldn't know what to do in the situation, but would most likely book new flights of I could afford it.. but its up to you.. go with your gut!

Feeling a bit stuck - and even more in limbo than before!

Can use 4hr cancellation with Norweigan (which we might do, I'll see if anything comes at midnight first) but 24hour periods are out the window for me since it's so close (has to be a week prior). May be of use to others though.

I wonder how 'detailed' the announcement will be - I'm hoping it'll be very clear if any part will still be operating (i.e. our TC package says its provided by Airtours) as once that announcement is made I want to be able to book immediately, while we still can

If I book new flight it will have to be on my credit card

Hopefully the TC flights would then be refunded on my credit card

I almost paid on my Debit card for the TC flights... so glad i didn't

Don't know where we would stand if I had paid on my Debit Card... there are sure to be many people in that position though

Good luck to everyone who has booked, I remember back in 2009 we had our honeymoon booked with Travel City Direct when they went bust, we got lucky and Virgin took over the booking and the process was easy, I hope some of the other companies step in to help without too much profiteering.

Huge sympathy with their staff their must be thousands of them probably in a job they love and they wake up tomorrow with an uncertain future

On a minor and very very selfish note I wonder if it means we won’t be going back to Orlando, I can only see virgin prices going even higher with less competition on the route.
