I thought that was the point of the kiosks after the meet where you scan the MagicBand? So that people can check their photos on the screen and would realise there was a problem. Seems pointless having the kiosk if that isn't the case - how do people know they are linking the correct photos to their account, for example?
TBH, I've had a couple of bad experiences with the Photopass photographers in the past (humans sometimes make mistakes and don't check their photos as well). That's why I either take my own photos or give my phone/camera to the CM and let him/her take a photo of us. That way, I can check the photo straight away.

I don’t remember seeing our photos on the screen when we scanned our bands although to be fair I didn’t realise we could and we just scanned and ran.

I can see those kiosks after the photos are complete being a pain with people not liking the end result and wanting them re-done (although the quality of some of the 'photographers' can sometimes be lacking).
The photo booth/station/whatever you want to call it is only good for 1 thing and that's a fixed "smile for the camera" shot. If you're wanting interaction or candid photos then it's either going to be doing it yourself or asking one of the CMs to take some shots for you. Edited at 07:55 PM. |

Admittedly, I'm only assuming that the photos appear on those kiosks. You're probably right and they may not. But I'm not sure why there would be a screen there if it didn't show anything on it.
TBH, in the old system you never knew whether the photos taken by the photographer were any good or not. In the old days you wouldn't know until you got home and could log into a PC. Most of the photos were good, but not all of them (in my experience).

Well we went to Guest Services and they say they will log the complaint and pass the concerns on.
We then went back to see Darth Vader again yesterday, this time we asked if the auto booth was working before we queued we were assured it was. Queued again this time only 5 minutes and when we got in guess what the cast member told us the booth wasn't working properly, fortunately we came prepared with our own camera this time so we do have some photos of our adventure but this is not good service. |
