Mobile Alan Longmuir has passed away

Alan Longmuir bass guitarist with The Bay City Roller has passed away aged 70 after being taken ill on holiday☹️. The Rollers used to be one of my earliest favourites when I was young. Used to love watching them on the tv show Shang a Lang. Rip Alan🌹.

He was my favourite Roller _ had his name in tartan ribbon on my trousers when me and my friends went to see them in our Bay City Roller gear
Happy memories - two concerts in one day - could hardly talk for days after it with all our screaming and singing

RIP Alan - Bye Bye Baby

So sad, I loved them in the 70's and went to see them in the ABC in Chester 1976.

I went with 3 friends all dressed in Rollers gear and we had a fantastic night.

I saw them again about 12/13 years ago in Manchester along with David Essex, David Cassidy and The Osmonds without Donny

Not sure if he was with them though.
