Hope your evening is going well. Never bother with measures personally. Just a good slosh .
Have enjoyed this thread . My new favourite gin is damson flavour. Yum.

I do 50ml of gin to 150ml of tonic (so a 1:3 ratio). The little cans are 150ml so it works well, although my mum deemed it too strong. Luckily I was serving it to my sister who thought it was fine. 🤣

The 80s called and want their gin back!

When there has been an explosion of interesting, small-batch and craft gins come to market over recent years, does anyone really consider Gordon's a premium gin in any way?

It's generally an indication that a pub isn't worth drinking in if their "good gin" is Gordon's.

One of the supermarkets, possibly Sainsbury’s, does that pre-mixed in a bottle and it’s a lovely drink. I think it tastes like liquid Turkish Delight!

Im not a gin snob... I have tried so many but I always come back to Gordons... love it, 80's or not. I don't follow anyone or get told what I like.

Got friends coming for a BBQ this weekend and we have got Lidls gin, got talking to a lovely couple at the till, who then went and got some too...… its Gin at the end of the day... you can add what you like.

Thanks for the tips everyone, my new favourite is Rosemary and Ice.

xx

Ps... so fancied the new one in Asdas Parma Violet Gin...… till I read the reviews... sad. xx

Aldi do a lot of good gins including craft brands - the McQueen gins are good in particular.
