Extra luggage

Hi guys was just wondering if anybody knows roughly how much an extra case of luggage will cost at sanford airport?
Think we went overboard with gifts and teddy's lol now we need another case haha

It will depend on the airline not the airport.

I know it can be pretty expensive! Sometimes it works out cheaper to have them posted back to you... You should be able to find your answer on the airlines website

I would try and get as much in your hand luggage as you can, as it's now 10kg per person. If you buy extra luggage in advance it's £10 per 5kg, but it will be much more at the airport unfortunately.

I think a case is around $100 on the day with nearly all the airlines

Consider dumping things that are easily replaced but heavy like large bottles of shampoo and the like. They really add to luggage weight. Good luck!

Last year virgin was $100 a bag .I paid it at the check in at Disney springs

Do people actually bring this home? I leave all my toiletries behind other than deodorant (as it’s prescribed)! Can’t be bothered to bring it home, didn’t realise people lugged it back across the Atlantic with them!

You really throw away all of your toiletries because putting them into your case is too bothersome? What a waste!

I buy them out there so I don’t take them out there with me. I only really tend to buy what I need so there doesn’t tend to be much left and even if there was I’d just leave it there! The housekeeping staff can take it if they fancy it or just bin it. I’ve got shampoo at home and I’d rather save the weight and space for stuff that matters!
