Mobile Galaxy’s Edge at 6 am - anyone tried it?

Has anyone been to Galaxy’s Edge for the 6am start recently and if so how busy was it then? We’re planning on doing that for the first day of our holiday when we’re all awake at daft o clock! But does everyone else have the same idea? Thanks

You're on holiday. 6 am and vacation don't go together.

I’ve saw some do it in the last week on Instagram. They got their for 6am and were done within a couple of hours so seems like it’s worth it if you’re already up or don’t mind getting up.

I'm definitely planning on doing this, at least a couple of times, during the first week of my trip! There have been a few Disney blogs that have covered doing 6am EEMH (including Disney Tourist Blog and easyWDW) and the reports look pretty awesome, doesn't seem like it's too crowded at all. The rest of the park looks even better from all reports - very low crowds at all the other rides!

(The only thing is that those reports are from September when the parks were less crowded, they might be a little bit more crowded in October but hopefully not by too much more!)

6 am and vacation would never normally go together, but due to the time difference on day 1 were always awake around 4am so it wouldn’t be any effort then.

We were there for opening day but didn't bother visiting GE until 2 days later and it was the middle of the day and we had no problem at all it wasn't even packed. We did return a few days later and arrived at 6.30am so we could get on Smugglers Run. The wait time was 60 mins but we got on in about 25 mins. To be honest, I don't think it's as big as they thought it might be.

I have been checking the live wait times each day from around 7am and the wait times are next to non. Falcon by 9am is upto 40 mins but 7am 15min and slinky etc 5-10 mins so well worth it in my book.

We went at 7am for EMH on 21st September, we were in the first 2 rows of car parking and the park was very quiet. We got on smugglers run in less than 20 minutes. Had a look round GE and went on slinky dog dash and toy story mania twice before 9am. We left the park just after 9am. I really wasn’t anticipating it to be so quiet and was prepared to abandon HS if it looked too busy.

Totally unnecessary. We were there a few weeks ago and never went into HS till 7am due to being up early anyway, we did TOT & R&R before even going to BATU & had no problem whatsoever doing Smugglers Run, one morning back to back! The thought of crowds has put so many people off it was the easiest ride to get on while we were there & I have to say now my fav ride especially if you get Gunners position. Did it 5 times in all as only there for 10 days this time. Don't bother to rush you will be fine. Can highly recommend doing the Mobile Ordering for Docking Bay 7 and food was really good for a QS meal. We had reservations for OGA'S but left after one drink interesting but would not bother again, just a busy, very expensive bar.
