"Proper" Nightdresses - Advice Needed!
Hello all!
I'm a bit of an old-fashioned girl (OK, maybe just an old girl) and I really prefer nightdresses to pyjamas. I have been hunting for one that actually reaches my ankles. I'm only 5'7" - but still everything I try ends at mid-calf. I feel like I've looked in all the usual places... Are there any long tall Sallies out there who can recommend a good brand/shop for LONG nightdresses? I meant to get one or two in America last November but never made it to a tall women's shop. I am close to London but also more than happy to shop online (just ask my DH ). Thanks in advance! |

I used to buy mine from BHS, the brand was 'sleep lounge' really soft modal cotton, and ankle length. Our nearest BHS closed down, so cant get them now

Thanks for the quick response!
We used to have a BHS near us, too - I found quite a few things there that I couldn't get anywhere else. When my 9 year old needed a full morning suit (in DECEMBER!) I went absolutely everywhere looking - but found it at BHS. I miss them. |

I didn't know there were any BHS stores anywhere now. I'd try M&S?

I've bought full length nighties from M&S, Debenhans, John Lewis & TK Maxx.

I've tried all those places, ladies - thanks, though.
That's why I thought I'd post - I've tried all the usual suspects! |
