That trip up the I4 through the roadworks at Downtown Orlando proved the least relaxing day of the holiday!

Could not face that same journey on the way back, hence the alternative route - was a much better way to go

We did enjoy the chill in the car, was gutted that the mall was not what we had always hoped- had actually thought we were missing out , having read so many reports on here. Not to be and I have to admit I don't think we will bother again, there are many other places that have bargains and given the time taken the outlet we visited in Tampa is high on the list given the bargains we got there a few days ago

I hate a day when you go bargain searching and get nothing

As mentioned above, the drive through the Downtown road 'improvements' was less than relaxing!

However it was a day we all needed, car air con and just out of the heat.

As always appreciate your continued 100% reading of every trip report day - it is so much appreciated in trying to get to the finish

The pic of Joe - his putt looked more like mine
He is far more photogenic than I am

As for St Andrews - well the weather remained for us - there can be fewer more spiritual golfing places on earth.

Josh shot 85 round the Old Course, which is a moment he will never forget neither will my brother who is a single figure handicap golfer.

His Nett score of 62 was 8 shots below his handicap and he did similar on the Eden Course and at Crail.

His achievement over the past week has been such a buzz for him and a reminder that I need to play golf rather than go to work

Beautiful part of the world and Crail , where we stayed, added to that too.
Could just sit and watch at the back of the 18th of the Old Course in St Andrews forever more.

Anyway - a trip report needs finishing!
