TUI Newcastle Direct

Going to Florida in October 2020 so had a look at TUI flights. Can get direct from Ncl for £652 each which I know is into Sanford so also not sure how the drive would be from there.
Not been to Florida since 2010 so excited and want to get things booked.
Does this seem like a good price for direct or should I wait for ba prices to be released and go indirect.
We are flying as two families of 4 adults and 3 children aged 13, 12 & 7.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

depending on where you are going but can get to the I4/192 area in about 45 mins from Sanford. Its an easier depart onto less hectic roads as well, so time to get in the groove/used the car etc etc

Personally weve paid about that indirect (in August) so if it was me I would save the hassle and go direct

EDIT just noticed you maybe in Edinburgh i'd chekc other options from there save yourself 2.5 hours drive

We love going direct from Newcastle as live 20 mins from the airport.
Such an easy journey at the other end, we usually take the 417 and are at Disney in about an hour x

TUI direct is great, it seems a fab price from Newcastle-does that price include luggage? (If not I sometimes find it cheaper to book a holiday with them as the package includes your luggage) BA indirect will more than likely be cheaper but at that price I would possibly be tempted to pay extra to avoid the hassle of changing flights. We have flown with TUI only once on a last minute bargain trip and found Sanford Airport to be good. There isn’t much food/shop wise in the airport on the way home but we found it excellent for checkin and security. I’m on the lookout for a bargain for this year!

We are going this October from Newcastle. We went a couple of years ago (again in Oct) and flew indirect via Heathrow and Miami, was absolutely fine. This year we are doing Newcastle to Heathrow then Philadelphia then MCO. Yes it’s a long day but for the price and convenience of flying to and from our local airport we are more than happy to do the same again. £1600 for 2 adults and 2 kids, inc luggage.

Sorry to jump on this thread @Kilkobeano but what time of year is that for? We're looking for next year - usually fly Tui from Newcastle but next year we want to use the magical express and not bother with car hire so NCL- SFB is out. Trying to plan different routes, when to book, who to book with etc, it'll be 2 adults and 16 year old so probably classed as adult.

It’s the end of October, booked in December last year with British Airways. I used sky scanner to keep a check on the prices then went on the ba site to book.

Thanks Kilkobeano, guessed it would have been something like that.
