Mobile What does this mean?

So ds got me a coat I wanted for Xmas and I absolutely love it so much I have already worn it every time I’ve been out the door since Xmas day. So we just went for a curry and I was thinking how would I clean it since it was clearly going to get a lot of wear.
Look at the label - confused.com!

Do not bleach/wash/tumble dry/dry clean blah blah blah.

Then it says DRY CLEAN ONLY?

How do I clean it?

I think I’d dry clean it.

I would go dry clean , but first would contact Principals/ Debenhams so buyers are aware . That is totally confusing but one of the miscommunications of foreign manufacturing

I would contact them too. I once had a coat from debenhams that was a bit like your label. I used to wash it flat in the bath then hang it up to dry. It made sure there weren’t any water marks on it when it dries

Thanks for replies. I have emailed them and asked them. Thing is I really like it and wouldn’t want to spoil it but I know I am going to wear it to death so want to make sure I can clean it properly when it needs it.

Maybe it means you can only dry clean the lining? Not great labelling at all!

I wondered about that but what’s the point in that? Can’t clean the coat but can dry clean the lining?
I thought it was odd that it didn’t say something like sponge clean only or something.
I’ve emailed them and asked to advise re cleaning.
