Disney tickets expiring sept 2021

Hi, we were due to go Easter 2020. It was all cancelled a couple of weeks before we flew so we already had Disney tickets linked to MDE. The tickets have been extended to Sept 21, does anyone know if Disney will extend beyond this date as we are thinking of going April 22? I’ve emailed Disney but not had a reply yet. I just thought I’d see if anyone else had an answer!

I tried to find out and gave up in the end. We were due to go April 2020. Just had our refund from attraction tickets direct and they’ve left the £200 deposit on file that I can use when I rebook.

I’m sure someone else on here asked this question and Disney said that they would honour the tickets but the difference in price would have to be paid. Hopefully someone can confirm this.

I’m wondering this too! Disney did reply to me and said I would have to change them in the parks but then that would mean I couldn’t book any reservations or fast passes. Universal didn’t reply

What are you thinking of doing? I’m so keen to rebook for 2021, but I just couldn’t stand face masks in that heat. That’s what’s putting me off the most. 2022 may be a better option, but I don’t want to risk looking the tickets 🤦

I just thought I’d update with what I’ve found out. I haven’t had a reply to my Disney email so I called Disney. The advisor said she’s heard that they will be extending them further and we should be ok for the whole of 2022. She said I would need to call back nearer to the expiry in September. I must admit I wasn’t filled with confidence in how she replied, so I don’t think I’ll bank in that.

I called Orlando Attractions (who we bought the tickets through) and they said either we can have a refund (minus 20%) OR a credit note for the whole amount so we can rebook for 2022.

I was told by Attractions Tickets, we have until 26th Sept on our Disney tickets and 4th December on our Universal tickets. We’ve moved to the beginning of September now.

Ticket prices at Disney have been increased for use from 26th September so I doubt Disney will extend previous ticket without charging the difference between the old and new prices.

Op slightly confused why are you dealing with Disney? If you bought from a third party seller then isn't your contract with them? I would expect that if Disney did extend you would still need some sort of confirmation from OA ? There are already posts where Universal or Disney have agreed something yet 3rd party have charged a penalty, seems 20% is standard.
As far as Universal, where we would have been happy with a 30 day use extension they offered me 6 months from pick up on our AP.

Hi
Has there been any more updates with this situation. Ours are valid until end of this year but we’re wanting to change the holiday until next year. Was supposed to go last year but rescheduled to this. We’ve already added them to MDE and reserved our park days for August. Just don’t know what to do for the best.
Thanks in advance xx
