We've stayed at the Homewood Suites and Embassy Suites in the past and these have free shuttles to Universal and Seaworld as well as being close to restaurants. Universal's new Endless Summer resorts are also a good suggestion.
Another thumbs up for the Homewood and Embassy Suites

We always stay on international drive and never hire a car. Usually use the hotels free shuttles and then use uber to get back. Homewood Suites is the best hotel we've stayed in although we didn't stay there last time we went as it was too expensive

Always stay on I-drive and never hire a car.Used Uber last year for all parks,Mall etc and it worked out cheaper than hiring a car

Also stayed in Homewood Suites which is nice but the last 3 times stayed at Rosen Pointe.Cheapish and cheerful and suited our budget.Great location

I-trolley to Seaworld looks easy enough too from International Drive.
Does that cost a few dollars a head?

you can usually buy 7 or 14 days about £10 each but beware the I-Trolley has no real timetable and at peak times they are full pretty quickly they are good for getting around but not reliable the Lynx buses are more reliable have a timetable and a 7 day pass is about £12
