Mobile Supermarket near Clarion inn

I won't have a car with me, just my two kids aged 7 and 10. I know there's a small store in the Clarion but we'd like to visit Walmart in our first day. Can anyone advise if there is a Walmart within walking distance, if not where would the nearest be and would it be expensive to take a taxi to? Thanks 🙃

There's a Walgreens just down on Apopka Vineland, take a left out of your hotel and a right onto Apopka, just a short walk and it's on the left. Or, if you didn't mind getting a taxi up Palm Parkway, there is a Walmart Supercenter on Turkey Lake Road. Edited to add, a taxi to that Walmart shouldn't be that expensive; it's not that far in a car. Hope that's of some help

Bashful, I should have made that more clear in my post, oops. As I said the taxi will take you up Palm Parkway to Walmart; Palm Parkway becomes Turkey Lake Road.

Maybe use Uber should be only a few dollars. Winn Dixie is good as said, if you just need a few groceries.
Uber is about $8.

Hi, you can get to a Walmart superstore using the Lynx busses. Get a 50 from outside the Clarion to Disney's TTC then transfer to a Lynx 56 and that takes you to a Walmart,it is on the right hand side of the road but slightly hidden by trees so ask the driver to tell you when you get there.

Winn Dixie is a nice supermarket to use. If you turn right out of the hotel and then left at the crossroads it about 1/2 mile along that road on the right hand side. There is also an ABC liqour store as well.

What is winning dixie like? It's really just to buy. Lunch type food rounds take with us to the parks. I wanted a look in Walmart at Disney souvenirs

We loved it. Shoppes there for food regularly. They do alot of deals if you have their store reward card, however if you say at the till you don't have one they will use the stores card. Saves abit of money.

Winn Dixie is really just a food store and you won't get Disney souvenirs there. Good deli section though. Walmart has everything.
