Or I book via the USA site as someone suggested before. Just frustrating as all options means I lose the dining plan.

I did think about dvc too but would probably leave that closer to the time in case something does appear.
As its food and wine in Sept the resorts closer to EPCOT will fill up but SSR may still be a possible if you aren't too fussy on where you are.

These days September is as popular than August with food & wine now starting in September.

You may get the availability but I would be looking to lock something in with free cancellation is case you can't.

I went in November last year and the were no rooms at all on site at all for one night of my stay - I booked two months out. I was happy staying on Hotel Plaza Blvd but if you need to stay on site I would be looking at getting it booked ASAP.

Just an FYI - Swan and Dolphin while on site do not have ME to get you back to the airport.

Thanks all. I keep checking like a mad woman! I think I either book pofq USA site for approx 1k but then need food or now the only thing available is beach club but water room at 3k extra but means we keep dining plan. Or downgrade to a value which I’m loathe to do. Damn I wish I’d booked ssr studio when I saw it

Just a suggestion but maybe you could look at a dvc booking for Animal Kingdom Lodge for your last few nights? Disney will transfer your luggage for you to make it easier. You’d have your mugs and maybe you could enjoy the theming and relax a little for a few days before heading home.

The dvc rooms have a sink/coffee maker/microwave.

You could still utilise the magical express at the end and could add the dining plan (regular or quick service) if you wanted to.

I’d do a dvc booking for the last three days. You will have eaten loads by then and quite likely be ready for smaller meals anyway.

We often move. Gives us a change to try more expensive resorts that we couldn’t afford for the full trip.

Dvc looks an option (will be for 4 days) but will we lose the mde back to the airport? Also agajn is it worth booking closer to the time incase something does come available

No you won’t lose the MDE. You are onsite guests and treated the same as everyone else.

If you leave it too long you may struggle to get a DVC room. They do sell out.

I extended my OKW booking in May for August last year but had to keep trying as they couldn't find availability, so you might still get lucky. I called every week for maybe 6 weeks before I managed to change so don't give up yet!
