Crocs for me (without any socks!) They may not look the best item of footweak, but I find them really comfortable. Ideal for water rides / waterparks too - and the afternoon thunderstorms.

I used to wear Hurley Free flip flops, they’re so comfy as its a Nike free sole.

On our last trip I wore Teva original sandals which were also really comfy. My boyfriend still wears trainers in the heat but I don’t think I could!

I’ve worn sandals, crocs and trainers. All are ok, just remember to put sunscreen on your feet if you wear open/exposed footwear.

I find the weather too warm for enclosed shoes in August so I always wear flip flops, either Puma or Nike ones.
This year I have gone for Sketchers so hoping they are okay (based on reviews on dibb). I wanted ones that stay on my feet, rather than having to remove them for rides when i wear flip flops.

On the other hand, my DH, DS & DD all wear trainers without too much trouble.

First time we went i wore flip flops - BIG MISTAKE! Had painful blisters and was in agony - second time we went I wore really comfy running shoes with trainer socks and it was perfect!

Another vote for Crocs. They also soften in the heat, which makes them even more comfy IMHO. Yes, they're not the most chic, but they're perfect park wear. I couldn't wear trainers like my DH and DSs do - I'd boil!

Trainers with trainer socks for me, I wear them for walking whether it's winter or the height of summer. I need the foot support and the cushioned sole. I had some well worn in black Nike trainers and have just bought the same pair in purple to start wearing in.

I have worn Merrill walking sandles on some summer holidays that have involved lots of walking but I haven't seen any I like for a while as mine needed replacing as I'd worn them out!

I wear crocs flipflops, I ordered a pair from Amazon and they’ve lasted me for years. They are comfortable around the parks and dry off quickly after a water ride.
