USCarhire - any good?

Looking to book car rental for our September visit. Usually go through AlamoBrits but prices for our chosen car (Fullsize SUV) are way too high. The same vehicle through USCarhire, with Alamo, is much cheaper. Anyone used USCarhire recently? Any information welcome.

Hi. Like Virgin or Andy or about 10 others they are a reputable 3rd party supplier and I have used them

As with anything though always book with a credit card to minimise any risk

I’ve used them a lot & found them very helpful when I had to make a lot of changes on our last trip due to a bereavement.
As Mr T says book using your credit card for added protection just incase

All the advice above is good.

They have been around for many years, so well established.
I have used them and I would also add their customer service is also very good and they reply to emails, like andy of DFCH, unlike some I've dealt with in the past, so if its a good price ,you can be confident it is a legit site and company.

Hi Karen, also check Andy's prices at DFCH, HERE. Andy can be cheaper and if your car hire reduces head to 'manage my booking' on his site and change for the lower price. Andy is highly recommended by Dibbers

I have used USCarHire for the last four years - they always, now, sort out hand-controls in advance so no more messing about with cars not being ready. This year Dollar with UScar hire is great value for us.
