Mobile What’s new since 2015?

Hi All,

Looking to go 2022 (which is most people’s thought I think) we were suppose to go next year, just myself and my partner. Instead we thought we’d delay and have more family come with! Last time went was October 2015.

With everything going on I just wanted to discuss/ look at what has changed, so I can get excited and look forward to it.

Thanks All!

Here are the major new additions to WDW and Universal since 2015 (not counting new resorts, restaurants)

New at WDW since 2015:

- Downtown Disney is expanded and renamed Disney Springs
- Pandora – The World of Avatar at Animal Kingdom with 2 new rides: Na'vi River Journey and Flight of Passage (amazing ride)
- Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios, with 2 new rides: Slinky Dog Dash (family rollercoaster, hugely popular) and Alien Swirling Saucers (flat ride similar to the Tea Cups)
- Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Hollywood Studios - 2 new rides: Millenium Falcon Smuggler's Run (where you pilot the famous ship) and Rise of the Resistance (the most technologically advanced and immersive ride created by Imagineers to date).
- Disney Skyliner (gondolas linking various resorts to Epcot and Hollywood Studios)
- Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway at Hollywood Studios - first ride to feature Michey and Minnie

New at Universal since 2015:

- Fast & Furious: Supercharged (simulator)
- Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon (simulator)
- Universal's Cinematic Spectacular: 100 Years of Movie Memories (night show)
- Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure (rollercoaster)
- The Bourne Stuntacular (stunt show)

I would watch some YouTube videos of people like Tim Tracker. They do really go updates of what’s changing at all the different parks. Will give you a good idea of what there is to get excited about. We go every 2 years... and when I book a trip I watch all the previous years videos to start getting excited again about what’s coming up.
