Cheap calls to US mobiles from UK landline

My Mum used to use Tele discount to phone my brother in California but it's started charging her more. Has anyone got a number for the 1p per minutes calls please.

If they both have WhatsApp (if not download it) then its free as over the internet

I'm afraid Mum isn't technology savy enough for WhatsApp. She only has a basic flip phone not a smart phone and never uses that. She uses her landline.
