In hospital

Hi all, I’ve been in hospital since Friday 3am arriving in a lot of pain. It turned out to be kidney stones that I’ve passed but it’s left me with a bad kidney infection. I’ve never felt pain like it... and has made me feel so poorly.

Hope you feel better soon. I had it in 2015 and it was horrendous. It was easier giving birth and far less painful haha i was left with infection and a malformed right kidney. I was in for 4 days. I have to have blood tests every 6-12months so assess kidney function. I was on a low blood pressure dose before this but had it increased to protect my kidneys. I was off work 3 weeks after being released. Take it easy, plenty of painkillers and fluids and wear comfy clothes especially if you are swollen.

Yep me too, never knew pain like it. My kidney stones got stuck so I couldn’t pass urine and it was going back into my kidney so an infection for me too. I then had to have a kidney stent for 4 months and that wasn’t pleasant either thank god haven’t had any issues since. Good luck with your recovery.
