Thanks, I'll try pricing up a flight.
I suppose it would help if I even knew what an ITA Matrix was then, never mind how to work it Off to Google it now Deb

It's a very handy website for checking flight prices with multiple options in one search. It only produces live flight prices but you can't book through it. But it's so much quicker finding flights on there and then replicating those prices on the relevant airlines website or Expedia. It's also very handy when you're flexible with dates and you can see a months worth of prices with one search. |

It's just another airfare search site very similar to google flights (run by them)
It's useful because you can search 5 departure and 5 arrival airports in the same search. I use and prefer google flights though. matrix.itasoftware/ |

If you copy what I've done here, you'll get a rough idea of how it works. When you first go to the site press 'Advanced routing codes' so you get the two extra fields.
This search is basically saying that we are happy to depart from either Dublin or Amsterdam. The next field tells it that we want to connect in London and then get a connecting flight with either Virgin Atlantic or British Airways. The third field says we're happy to fly into Orlando or Tampa. The fourth is saying we want to fly with either Virgin Atlantic or British Airways then connecting in London. The rest should be self explanatory. I've told it I want to see a calendar of dates and my holdiday could be between 10 and 16 nights. Finally, I've said Business Class fares only. It then produces this calendar where you can see the cheapest days to fly. I used September as an example: |

You didn't include dates so quite hard to replicate exactly but this is pretty much it:
expedia/Flights-Se...VS&mode=search As I'm flexible on dates, I like to use ITA Matrix for the month view, then I just put those dates into Expedia. On Expedia, departing airport as DUB, arriving airport as MCO, preferred airline as Virgin Atlantic (as per your example) and then class to business. Just make sure you don't have 'direct only' checked. |

thank you! We held off our May trip this year because I can't stand anything but Business... this gives more options at-least!
