It might not be well known, there were not many, it may have practically rotted out before it left the factory, but it is truly beautiful and elegant (imho).

Yes- I saw you were also a fan. They were so stunning. Not a good buy though if you need your car to last more than 6months!

My 1st car was a Mini Cooper 1275GT. Red with a Union Jack roof!
Back in the late 60s. Had a few minor issues which I couldn’t do myself & couldn’t afford garage costs so I sold it for £100. How I wish I could have stored it somewhere. Worth a fortune now! |

Yes, my dad did have one - one of the first ever made Within 3 hours of taking owner ship it developed a fault whereby the carb flooded and pumped petrol over the hot engine!
