We never left the UK for holidays until our 40’s, couldn’t afford it before then. Since then we have had around 15 years (so far) of visiting some wonderful places, both in the UK and abroad. We have progressively become more adventurous and no longer rely on a package deal or just stick to Western Europe 😀. Next year we visit Vietnam and Croatia for the first time. We have also visited Florida 3 times and New York, many European countries and Cabo Verde in Africa. Some places like Florida and Majorca we visit more often than others, and I feel these will be our ‘regular’ type of place when we are older. But, as we started travelling later in life, we are aware of how many wonderful places we still have to see, so are trying to see as much as we can while we are healthy and fit enough to do so 😀
