I am trying to think of a girls name something maybe old but lovely if you know what I mean.. some of you may remember my post about writting a book well I've started and so far so good but I have a mind blank on my main characters name. I can see her clear but every name just doesn't fit.

1 of my dd's is a Molly - hubby didn't like the name 1st time I mentioned it because he thought it was old fashioned - she was actually called something else for the 1st 2 days but Molly just suited her better and he let me change it - much to the confusion of her 4 year old brother lol

Lovely old names for a female lead could be Clover, Violet, Mary, Rose. It does depend on your story, as you want the name to reflect your character. So, do you want a romantic lead, a strong female, a fighter or brave woman etc?
