Not being interested in beauty in the slightest I’m not overly sure what you mean by leave in. Is this one you leave in and don’t rinse out or leave in longer than normal then rinse out?

If the latter then I have used one from home bargains with succes, I can’t recall the name but it’s a brown/bronze pot and is about £2.50

I used it on my dd who has terrible dry and easily tanglable hair on our last hol and either just left it in for longer in the shower or alternatively left it in and sat her on the balcony for a short time then rinsed it out and dried it before bedtime

It’s not expensive but it worked for us (and was recommended by a hairdresser)

Thanks Choccielover, one that you leave on for a hour or two or a few mins longer would be fine in all honesty I am desperate for something to help. I will try the one you recommend thanks.

My DD12 has hair to the waist too and we use a John Frieda leave in conditioner spray that is great at detangling. Just spray it on after her shower and her hair brushes through really easily. Doesn’t look greasy when it’s dried either.

I’ve tried loads for my dry thick highlighted hair and haven’t found anything better then It’s a 10. I get mine when I go to Orlando but I’ve had one from amazon uk before. Expensive but a large size lasted me nearly a year and I use it every wash.

Last visit in Oct got IGK Thirsty Gal which I alternate with it’s a 10 or use them both. It’s pretty good and really light.
