For us it would be a cheese board, nice crackers and pickles, posh sausage rolls (M&S do nice hog rolls), warm bread rolls with salted butter, carved Christmas ham, luxury coleslaw, dips and nice crisps, fancy nuts and more cheese!

I’d do a grazing tray or table - you put everything in small piles on top of a piece of brown paper. Maybe using some festive flowers/foliage. Loads of inspiration online.

We always have the easy option... a second full Christmas dinner, chicken, beef and pork is already cooked/left over from day before so just the veggies to sort. Much more relaxing.

I cook a large beef joint on Christmas Eve, turkey roast on Christmas Day. We then have our next few days meals around those meats. So Boxing Day lunch, is cold meat with pickles and chips and mash (to cater for different tastes). Boxing Day tea buffet is more cold meat, rolls, cheese board and a little selection of cooked frozen nibbles, such as mozzarella bites, tempura prawns etc., you could just do a lovely cream tea, with scones with fruit, without and maybe even some cheese ones. Nice jam and lots of lovely clotted cream. Add some nice cakes and mince pies.

Haha cherry b .. we use to put a bottle in our handbags and have half a cider then nip into the ladies and top it up with that ... we were classy in the 80s
