Mobile Schools ... I'm interested to know ...

With all the windows open to keep air flow up, what is your school saying about children wearing extra layers to keep warm?

Ours has advised extra layers from the start of Sept, but does have guidance - eg no hoodies, layers to be underneath blazer

I'm in the office, so am layered up, scarf and have bought thermal socks. Will see if I need the fingerless gloves!
Also lucky that DD is year 12 so no school uniform needed.

We haven't heard anything yet, daughters school is quite old looks like a group of prefab buildings so I can imagine it isn't the warmest of buildings in winter, daughters hot blooded like me though so I think she will be okay, I'm pretty sure though it would be layers under blazer say base layer, shirt, jumper then blazer... School is very keen on standards 🤔

Kids are tough they can handle a bit cold 🙂 when we was young we took turns to wear the family socks. I was a Monday and a Thursday, never hurt me 🥶

Iím a teacher, Iíve just advised my class(Y3) to put on an extra vest! It can be quite chilly now, but I keep telling them we have to keep the windows open.
