Universal Orlando ticket refunds/extensions.
Can anyone point me to Universal's covid ticket policy, I can't seem to find it on their site.
Does anyone know what are they doing with dated 2021 tickets? I'm looking to buy for this Sept 1st as the price is pretty good ($15pp less for 2 day base tickets than when I last checked a few months back). I'm sure they offered a booking guarantee on their front page but I can't see anything now. Ta. |

Which Universal tickets are you buying and where are you buying them from?
The ticket section on the UK Universal Orlando website (universalorlando) is actually run by AttractionTickets. AttractionTickets do have a free COVID cancellation policy (check their website here for details). Note that it's actually a bit cheaper to buy the tickets direct from AttractionTickets than from the UK Universal Orlando website. If you are buying the Universal tickets from elsewhere then you'd need to check with the seller's policy. As for the US tickets sold on universalorlando, like you I can't see a COVID ticket policy on there. Possibly because Universal is now open, and should be for the foreseeable future, and therefore the tickets will be valid? Whether you can get to Florida is not Universal's problem (or, at least, that's how they might see it). The situation is now different to when Universal had to close last year - or were worried they might have to close again - and therefore had to extend the validity of their tickets because their parks were closed. Unlike with Disney, I suppose there's no real need to buy Universal tickets months in advance. You can buy them just a couple of weeks before you go.

Thanks Nimbus.
I was looking to buy the 2 day 2 park base tickets but I don't know what to do now as I've seen 2 days plus 2 free days at Undercover tourist for the same price. It says that they are for sale in the US and Canada only but Undercover tourist are saying that they sell them from the US so we would be fine to buy them as UK residents? I quote: 'Thank you for reaching out to us with your questions. Any one is welcome to purchase those tickets, we sell from the US so this is acceptable. Being a UK resident is acceptable for Universal tickets. I hope this information helps'. I'm not convinced as the 'Florida resident' tickets for sale on the Universal site say you will have to show proof of Florida residency. |
