I’ve now also found it on the VA travel plus site. It’s under Flying Club.

I’ve sent a booking form to DFCH but VA is cheaper. I may book it and if Andy manages to come in cheaper as the date approaches I can cancel this one.

For our dates in September we can get an intermediate SUV with Virgin for £424.00. It includes :
Unlimited Mileage
Collision Damage Waiver CDW
$1 million Liability Cover EP
Third Party Liability (state min)
Zero excess in event of damage/accident
Airport User Fee
Pre payable State/Local Taxes
Pre payable State/Local Surcharges
One additional driver
24/7 Breakdown/Accident Assistance (free Alamo call out in the event of car breakdown)
Can anybody tell me if this is all we need, will be be fully covered with this?
Thanks

That’s all you need. Good to go and fully covered.

Can I ask please with Virgin do you have to pay at the time of booking for the car hire? If so if you cancel how quickly do those refunds come back given Virgin's track record earlier?

Or is there an option to pay later?

A stand alone hire is fully payable at time of Booking. When I cancelled pre pandemic the refund took circa 3 days. I don't know the current situation though albeit they're refunding flights in circa 7 days.
